For millennia, yogis have known what modern analytic psychology has only recently begun to reveal –

that beneath the confines of the conscious mind, a deep reservoir of intelligence lies, which is the key to our healing and liberation.

As we begin to awaken to – and learn how to elegantly traverse - the depths of psyche and soma,

the mind and the body, we begin to move toward wholeness.

We begin to release attachment to the patterns, behaviours, thoughtforms and identities which have kept us small,

and we connect to a source of infinite love, power and wisdom which resides at the core of us all. 

This is the essence of kundalini awakening, and the essence of evolving into the greatest version of you.

In his book The Psychology of Kundalini Yoga, Carl Jung - one of the founding fathers of analytic psychology (along with Sigmund Freud) - describes the shared aspiration of psychoanalysis and yogic practice:

self-actualisation and the awakening of the infinite potential of the human being.

 

In this profound 8 week journey, we will work to transform the seven core psychological wounds

We will weave potent embodied yogic practices and philosophical insights together with the deeply complementary wisdom of the Western analytic, transpersonal, motivational and depth psychology traditions, in order to provide the framework to heal and transform at the deepest levels. This course is designed not only to enhance your personal mental, physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing, but to assist you to improve the quality of your relationships, your productivity and your ability to relax and enjoy life to its fullest.

Each workshop will comprise approximately one hour of theory and interactive learning, followed by 1.5 hours of embodied yogic practice. 

The course includes 20 hours of class time in total. 

Workshops will be held on the following dates at The Kundalini Centre,

with each session running Wednesdays 6.15 - 8.45pm (please note, class ending times are approximate & may vary)
